At the Victory Seventh-day Adventist Church believe ministry is not something that is optional. We believe it is an essential component of our service to others! Before Jesus ascended to heaven He left us with this command; "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mat. 28:19-20).

This was not a suggestion, but a command. A command to love, care and reach others. The question for us is whether or not we will be obedient to what Jesus has commanded. Jesus also told his disciples to wait on the Holy Spirit who would give them power to be His "witnesses in "Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

Their mission would begin right in their hometown, Jerusalem. It would then expand to the ends of the earth. Likewise we believe that our mission should begin right here in the Bronx. For this reason we make it a point to be engaged in missions locally, as well as globally, leading men, women and children to Christ, so they can be prepared for His second return.

Through our special services and ceremonies such as of Baptism, Baby Dedication, Communion, Funerals and Weddings we extend our ministry to others. Via these special services and ceremonies we  establish spirit-filled relationships with God the Father, Jesus the Son, the Holy Spirit and with our community. Meeting the community's special requests for baby Dedication, Weddings, Baptisms, etc.

We present here the purpose and format of these services so that you may understand them and be prepared to participate.
