The Story
So many families struggle to send their kids back to school with all the required items, but through our local church, we are making a difference. Last school year (2016-2017), the first year of this program, we were able to donate 100 backpacks and over 5,000 school supply items for students in the community at our back-to-school event. Our goal is to increase that number this year. Our efforts will go from good to great if we have the support of everyone in our community.

The Youth Helping Youth is an outreach initiative of the Victory Seventh Day Adventist Church Youth Department that focuses on raising funds for its annual back to school supplies giveaway to the community at large. We make a strong effort to purchase as many school supplies as possible but it's hard when we have to turn those bright expectant faces
away because we don't have enough. Your tax-deductible contributions will assist those families who just need a little help. It will make a big difference to each student, to each family, and to each classroom.

Our back-to-school event will take place on August 12,
2017 at Victory Seventh-day Adventist Church and you are invited!
